Hi Writer,
How's the new year resolutions going?
I wanted to take a moment to re-introduce myself, especially for the new subscribers. My name is Linda Ikechukwu (a technical writer and developer advocate), the person you’ve been receiving this newsletter that you’ve grown to love (I hope) from.
However before I resume the regular cadence of the newsletter for the year, I wanted to ask:
How useful is the content you receive from me, and what can I do to make it better. You see I do not get paid to run this newsletter. And I run a very busy schedule so the only reward for writing this email is that it’s actually useful to you.
What is your job role, and at the career phase that you’re currently in as technical writer, technical content writer, developer advocate or whatnot, what type of content or topics would be most helpful to you and have a tangible in the trajectory of your career.
Can you remember why you signed up to receive this newsletter, all 1,800 of you? I’d like to know so I can do more of that.
What technical communication sites do you visit or technical communication communities that you’re part of that you find valuable?
Please if you open this newsletter, take some time to reply to the questions above. I would really like to know so I can make this newsletter valuable for you. No point consistently sending stuff to your email if you’re not getting value from it. Thanks.
Goodies for you
Although the purpose of this issue is just to garner feedback, I’m still not going to leave you high and dry.
